Verbesserungsvorschläge

  • Servus,

  • Seat occupancy suction suggestion

    E-310, NC Center: 0.16.9.0

In the case of a suction suggestion based on space occupancy, I would find it good if you could select with a few clicks how many consoles you would like to use to make a suction suggestion.

Although there is the possibility of limiting the number of clamping devices, this works more badly than well, and it is also too cumbersome to select.

Yes. Especially because it is not always possible to move the consoles, to the position generated. (hose length too short).

  • Maybe the software department would like to take a look at things if they notice. The service only gives advice on how to work around it on a case-by-case basis

This has been my experience also, when dealing with the software.

    • Offizieller Beitrag

    Hallo JensF,

    • "Fehler: Berechnung der Werkzeugbahn fehlgeschlagen, CAM-Fehler: ~Tool diameter and offset value result in empty tool path."

  • I find myself wishing there was a way to save the settings of a macro as a preset. This would allow quickly programming things with common machinings. I know about components and I use these a lot where applicable, like sawing or full machining of individual details etc.. What I'm really interested in is having the ability to select a preset once I have inserted a macro. For instance, if I insert a vertical trimming macro and I have a variation of a part I make all the time, I would like to select "kerf to depth" and "stepped cutout" and now the 2 macros are programmed the same way I always program them.

The best comparison I can think of is Technology macros on the SCM Machines (accord). Within Maestro you can create a program thats just a line, apply your desired machining to it and save it as a Technology. From then on you can apply the Technology to any line in any program, and it uses the parameters from the original for the new machining. This saves tons of time for operators.

This is one of features in alphacam, which almost converted us away from woodwop.

I often use the "copy parameters" feature, to speed up programming common CAM macros in woodwop.

    Hello!

Even basic commands can be saved and activated in the same way as in Maestro. This Sequence macro has existed since at least the ww5 version if not even earlier, it's just been removed by default in new woodWOP installations. You can activate it and it will work. Attached is a video of how it works.

  • Samiki you are the G.O.A.T.! I have been programming with woodwop for years and had no clue Sequence macros even existed! Thank you man!

  • Hi samiki,

this is a very cool kind of way to work!

where i can activate this tool? I can´t find it.

    Thank you for your help!

  • Hallo Hansi939 ,

    Viel Spass beim ausprobieren.

    Viele Grüße

  • Would it be possible to add a function to the contour rounding command, with which the rounding would be so-called external arch? This could work like this: when the value is negative, the arc is made external, and when it is positive, the rounding is normal.

It shouldn't be too difficult to add this functionality. Sure, CAM commands have this function, but for jobs like this it's too slow, and not everyone has CAM commands.
