STEP assembly Import?

Hello,

Is it possible to import a STEP file into WoodWop?
Ideally. I'd like to import a step assembly and cut each of the individual parts. (Each part is flat 18mm plywood requiring cut and engrave operations)

Is this possible?
Let me know if it doesn't make sense, I can provide some images.

it's possible.
Do you have the cad-plugin ( and the cam-plugin) ?
Which version of woodwop? (7.1 / 7.2 )
Just enable the cad-plugin and drag'n drop the STEP-file

Hi,

little steps are possible automatic. From Woodwop 7.2 you can automatically rotate and align the solid. Short info in the video.

You can explode the assembly into solids and solids into faces.
With feature recognition, it is possible to automatically identify holes and pockets (just circle)
Check out the woodwop help and woodwop news from menu.

The best is single step file in the right position from cad.
