Short background: I purchased a used 1999 Weeke BP 150 and have been restoring it back to original. The machine has WoodWOP 4.0 with the DXF import feature. I've finally designed a sign for my wood shop am am trying to get it cut out on the machine.
Progress so far: I created the art in Adobe Illustrator and then flattened all the illustrator layers and then saved the file as a DXF. Then I opened the file in AutoCAD and named the layer Poly_15NMlogo and exported that file as a DXF.
Question: Does the black area of the art represent the material to be removed? If not, how do I create a "poly" or "freeform" shape that is essentially a pocket? I've attached my DXF file for reference.
