Hello!
The reason why the error occurs is that you have an entry for mirror part in the generation settings. Take that out and there won't be an error.

Hello!
Here is one example of how the tool number can be controlled by the name of the material.

Hello!
In the "G26" field, you can tell the radius of the incoming movement
In the "G3.4" field, you can tell the distance from the tool to the chuck nut or, in your case, to the root of the chuck stem
-Sami
Hello!
Try this way:
a1 = SQRT(100^2+100^2) = 141.4213562373
a2 = MOD(PREC(a1)*100)/100 = 0.42
a3 = MOD(a1)+a2 = 141.42

Hello!
Hi Sami, I am on version 7.2.92.0 and still have the issue.
Homag said there won't be anymore updates to woodwop 7.2 after this, so it will not be fixed.
woodWOP version 7.2.92 this part moving works with CAM commands. This can be verified with wood motion. If an error occurs, you will also see it in wood motion. Maybe you don't have an updated generator but only woodWOP. In this case, the error will not be corrected. There is one more update for woodWOP version 7.2, which is probably the last, i.e. 7.2.100
-Sami
Hello!
I guess this problem has already been fixed. The error is listed under PR 41428: MPRXMerge: Error when linearizing CAM macros in components with XY offset and unprocessed part offset. So this has been fixed since version 7.2.84 / 8.0.516. Of course, if you are using an earlier version, it is good to be aware of the problem and update the ww version.

The problem is for some reason in the letter a

Hello!
The dxf-file can be imported to different levels in the following way.
The dxf file is drawn on a normal xy plane in cad.
1. Select the first desired level (in woodWOP) where you want the lines
2. In import, select project Curves as auxiliary geometries in active level
3. Convert the desired lines to contours at the desired level
-Sami
Hello!
Yes, as far as I remember, it can be done, but then you have to draw lines on the autoCAD vertical planes. I'll check tomorrow if I can find an example file with which I managed to do that.
-Sami
Hello!
Vector milling that is not done on geometry in the xy plane, or alternatively machining is not defined as being in a perpendicular plane, cannot be mirrored. This Clamex component has vector machining, which is not perpendicular to the plane, so it cannot be operated mirrored.
-Sami
Is this similar to the "prepare machine" which is run every time at start up?
Hello!
This is not the same function. When starting the machine, the so-called reference run/warm-up run is different than this "spindle" program. The spindle program is only needed in certain situations. This spindle activation, "spindle" program is also mentioned in the machine manuals. The running of the program is also constantly monitored, so it must always be completed from start to finish.
-Sami
Hello!
Here you can see an example of how the change affects when it is made to the right file. In the second machining, the tangential length is the original 30mm and in the second it is a modified 10mm. You can find out the right file by setting, for example, 001 in the name field and generate. This way you get an error message which file is missing and you know to make the correct change.
Never modify the original file, make a copy of it and name it like "original fileame.001" or "original filename002", etc...
-Sami
Hello!
You should run a program called "spindle" that resets the long pause state of the spindle. You may find the program in the service folder. This error usually occurs if the machine has not been used for a long time or the motherboard battery has run out/been replaced. In this case, commissioning can only be done by running the "spindle" program. The program must be run from the beginning to the end to remove the error.
-Sami
Hello!
As it was already mentioned there before, the machining can be done by setting the saw blade as a milling tool. In this case, the machining can be done either as horizontal milling or a-angle milling. This is obviously dangerous in terms of approach, but possible. This second possibility is exactly the nocth corner machining, where you can do the machining with an aggregate. See pictures
-Sami
Hello!
Yes, such a thing can be done, but the grooves made in the ends with a saw blade are a bit dangerous. For this you also need to have a command of the "grooves of the contours". This command is only available from woodWOP version 7.1 onwards. I recommend making grooves in the ends with a horizontal router (aggregate).
-Sami
option fix 1. Set both and start or end extension on
option fix 2. off end extension
Hello!
The problem is not the fly by in the curve, but the extension of the end of the machining causes it.
This is very easy to see when you remove the extension and all the machining works.
-Sami
Hello!
Try this one. You can drill all the other holes first and then return the piece to the starting position. Release the grip and turn the track and let the program continue.
-Sami
Hello!
In order for the grain direction determination to work correctly, it must be set in the parts list for each desired piece.
You should set the direction Y=longitudinal, X=transverse or N=the part has no defined direction. At the same time, you should make sure that the material used has a defined direction. If this was not specified, the direction of the paragraph can be reversed.
The direction marked in woodWOP has nothing to do with the direction of the cutrite. In woodWOP the marking is basically just a sign that describes the direction to the user.
-Sami
Hello!
Yes, it is possible to split the cutting list into both the saw and the cnc at the same time. For this, the optimization parameter column should be set in the information boxes. The information in this column guides each part to the desired optimization. Optimization parameter setting can also be automated with cutting list rules. In addition, you set the system parameters to divide the list into separate lists based on the optimization column information.
In this way, you always get divide optimizations for both the saw and the cnc as a result of the optimization.
