nevermind I called stiles and they told me. I had to set up a saw parameter and optimization one, then you saw transfer parameters and last cpout impot/export parameters.

Does anyone here know how to convert a pnx or xl file to cpout?
-
by doing that you will use more material and create more waste.
Then again there isn't any other way of cutting it like the way you want

Ah shoot I miss read your post. I thought you already tried that lol

What I did is I would first optimize the file to see how much material i would use.
Next when I get to the screen when you can change the size/material etc..I just entered the size of the offcuts and quantities in the board list
then change the limit of the regular boards to 0 and the quantity to a number smaller than what you would use to optimise it.
I would then use the same board code to Temporarily create another board with the dimension of the offcuts and set the quantity to the number of offcuts.
I would also change the limit to 9. Then re-optimize the file
I hope that makes sense lol

i think you have to switch it to the mdi function then manually enter the tooling measurements..make sure you know what the toolong number is so you dont change the wrong one

Well v11 officially sucks in my book because of this.
Thanks for your help -
Would anyone know why I have to set up the recut on V11 but on V7 I can do anything..the guy training me from stiles couldnt give me a definitive answer. He said v7 might be ignoring the recut rules. for example In a pattern could place a 613.5 part and right beside it a 609. now if I try that with v11 i have to set the re cut smaller than the kerf.
Can I set this to ignore these settings like V7 is doing?
I have hpl33 saws running cad3 -
Danke!! I have been "playing around" with the settings, I just haven't found what the minimum amount of parts are for this setting to be most effective.

Hey how many of you guys use this function?
Do you see any benefits? -
FYI it was the pulley on the carriage that was causing this

The scoring saw blade makes a squealing sound (like its dull/worn out belt) whenever we cut one sheet. More than one sheet it is fine.
We have replaced the motor, belt and blade but still the nothing changes.
Any thoughts on this? -
Compressed air after every pattern, then shop vac or similar industrial vacuum system once a week. Depending on how many shifts you have

Ok thanks!! now I just need to figure out how to configure my import setting without messing everything up....I've figured it out!! now if my crypto currency would just go back into the green my day would be perfect!!
