Hallo zusammen,
Danke euch!

What´s the problem of your machine? Please describe more details!
Hallo renault1,
vielen Dank für die Datei. Ich probiere es mal aus.
Since woodWOP 7.2 you can change the tool automatically by defining a "mirror toll" or by changing the processing direction clockwise/counterclockwise automatically.
https://www.homag.com/en/products/software/woodwop-versions/
That´s it. Good job bastler!
Did you manage it manually or do you use a tool that is converting the contour automatically to overlapping freeform pockets?
As I told you: to process pocket with islands you have to upgrade to woodWOP 7 + CAM-Plugin basic.
In former woodWOP versions there is just the free-form pocket that removes all material inside. To avoid this I used sometimes this trick: Divide the object in the CAD software into two separate objects which doesn´t include an island. Then you can process these objects as free-form pockets. See attached example.

Hi cjblamp,
to process pockets with islands you have to use the CAM-Plugin. It´s an optional package for woodWOP that includes additional macros for processing 3D objects based on surfaces and for processing pockets with islands.
The "pocketing with islands" macro needs a contour. Therefor you have to project the curves to contour elements in the active level.
See attached.

Hi cjblamp,
please attach your file (DXF, MPRX). So the community can have a look and maybe help
I am using always the default settings:
track deviation: 0,2 [mm]
angular deviation: 3,0 [°]
Depending on the precision that is needed on your parts you can increase these values. Just try it.
On my machine (HOMAG BMG 512) I have two different smoothing options: contour mode and B-Spline
I simulated your file on my machine. It´s 10 times the same part so I tried the settings just for 1 part.
The result:
Without smoothing: 3:14 min
Contour mode: 2:23 min
B-Spline: 1:52 min
So you can see there is an effect by using the smoothing options.
By the way: Fusion never will be able to calculate a precise processing time. The CAD/CAM system are just calculating in as easy (stupid) way: time = distance/feed.
The error is that the programmed feed mostly can´t be reached. The distances are to short to accelerate to the feed. The machine has to brake at a corner and has to accelerate again ...
Can you upload the woodWOP file so that we can have a look?

Hallo fackel,
Hi Kevin1111,
if you have installed woodWOP on your office pc you will find a tool called "MDAT, Import Machine Data".
By using this tool you are able to import and to synchronize the tool data from machine to office.
For back up it is recommended to make a full back up of the machine data in regular intervals. Your HOMAG service technician or service partner will explain you how to do.
There is no way to change the lead in point. The "horizontal pocket" processing is defined by sub-programs.
I would recommend to program the pocket as a contour and process it with the macro "horizontal routing". Here you can influence the lead in like you want.

Das geht bereits seit 2015 mit der Version 7.0.

I assume that you want to drill with the main spindle with one single drill bit instead of using the drilling head.
You have to program it like a standard drilling with the woodWOP macro "vertical drilling". Important is that you have to define the tool number in that macro. Usually this parameter is empty and the nc generator of the machine is choosing automatically the suitable drill bits.
